T-Shirt Order Form (Non-Cast Members) - Due FRIDAY (3/21)

Hello everyone!  The time is drawing near to place our order for Seussical T-Shirts. It is a great way to support your son/daughter(s) and the spring musical at HCS.

If you are interested in ordering an extra t-shirt for yourself, please fill out the following information and email it back to Peggy Loftus (peggy@loftuscountry.com).  Or if it is just as convenient, print off this email and return it to the school office addressed to Peggy Loftus.

**Remember, cast members do not need to order t-shirts through this form (a shirt for each actor was included in the musical participation fee).

All orders/payments are due by Friday March 21.  This is a firm deadline as we will not be ordering many extras and with spring break looming (yeah!!!) we need to place our order before break.

Anyone and everyone is invited to order a t-shirt!

Revised Prop Needs/Request

Thanks to everyone who has already brought in a prop!  We have enough crutches and a ukelele now.  We still have a few more props we need help getting our hands on - a new prop (small piano)  has been added to the list.

Just a reminder - we need to have all the props ready to use for evening rehearsals starting after Spring Break.

Props can be dropped off at rehearsals or in the box located by the costumes.  Please let Sandra Ritter (props chair - stritter2000@live.com) and one of the producers (holycrossmusical@gmail.com) know if and where you drop off your prop so we can keep track of them all.

General Prop Needs:
  • Bubble Machine to put in a bath tub
  • A very small YELLOW purse for Mrs. Mayor
  •  A mini/very small umbrella for Mrs. Mayor (child/doll size)
  • small piano (fisher price toddler piano)
  • 2 colorful balls the size of tennis balls for a fake juggling act
  • Colorful mittens for JoJo
Please bring in any general props or donations no later than 3/31/14.  Before spring break is preferable so we can use spring break to hunt down any remaining items needed.

Actor Supplied Props:
  • All the SOLDIERS and BIRD GIRLS need to bring in a pretend weapon/gun from home. These should be silly items like mops, brooms, hairbrushes, mirrors, plungers, swifters, etc. Mops/brooms and such should be small, like play size. We don't want anyone getting hurt.
  • All WHOS need to bring in a small box wrapped as a Christmas gift. Please put a nice ribbon or bow on the gift. There are a lot of whos (about 50) so please keep the gifts SMALL (e.g. a toddler sized shoe box). They all need to fit on the stage.
Whos, Soldiers & Bird Girls please bring props in on 3/31/14.

A note about rehearsals and absences

Greetings!

Spring break is only two weeks away, and Opening Night is two weeks after Spring Break -- WOW! The kids have been working so hard and the show is really coming together and we are so proud of them!

We would also like to remind you and your actors that it's more critical to be at every rehearsal as we get closer to the show. Our directors have been extremely flexible with multiple absences, but now we are "putting it all together" and really need *all* the actors in their places and singing their parts. With a single cast, we rely on each actor to know their part and help their fellow actors.

For known absences, please email holycrossmusical@gmail.com prior to 1pm the day of rehearsal. If its an unexpected absence (after 1pm), please text Stephanie @  (217)778-7873.
If you anticipate multiple absences in the next two weeks, please contact us to discuss options.

Thank you and please let us know if you have any questions,
--your producers Stephanie, Beth and Natalie

Who & Soldier Costume Request

WHO'S COSTUME REQUEST!!

Greetings all you Whos from Whoville!! It's time to start getting you ready for what you will wear and Mrs. Howie and Mrs. Hood need your help!!

The main color for the Whos is YELLOW!! That way you will be all bright and beautiful and light up the stage.

Since there are 48 of you we need each of you to create your outfit for us. Dig in your closets, hit Goodwill or the Salvation Army, borrow from a friend and put together an outfit that is mostly yellow. It can be shirts, pants, shorts or skirts of modest length, dresses, overalls, socks, tie, ....whatever you can create. If there's some orange, blue, green, red, or pink in there, that's fine, too, AS LONG AS the main color is a shade of yellow.

For shoes we ask that you supply any pair of shoes you want as long as they are soft soled and easy to dance in. We don't want to have everyone spend the money on matching shoes.

Monday, March 17th, we would like you to bring to rehearsal what you have put together in a plastic bag with your name marked in permanent ink.

We're really excited to see what you create. Make it fun! We will also have big felt flowers for you to wear in the show so we know you'll look great. If you have any questions please email Cindy Howie at cdhowie689@sbcglobal.net or Denise Hood at dhood610@att.net

Happy creating and thanks!!

SOLDIER'S COSTUME REQUEST!!

Attennnn-TION SOLDIERS!! This is an all call for help in getting your costumes ready. We have camouflage shirts for everyone and we need you to supply a pair of tan long pants, white socks, and shoes. The shoes can be brown or black dress shoes but need to be soft soled and not too clunky sounding.

On Monday, March 17th, we would like you to bring to rehearsal what you have put together in a plastic bag with your name marked in permanent ink.

If you have any questions please email Cindy Howie at cdhowie689@sbcglobal.net or Denise Hood at dhood610@att.net
